Until 1 January 2007 '''Give municipality''' was a [municipality](/source/municipality) ([Danish](/source/Danish_language), ''[kommune](/source/Commune_(subnational_entity))'') in [Vejle County](/source/Vejle_County) on the [Jutland](/source/Jutland) peninsula in southeast [Denmark](/source/Denmark).  The municipality covered an area of 403&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>, and had a total population of 14,090 (2005).  Its last mayor was Villy Dahl Johansen. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of [Give](/source/Give_(Denmark)).

The municipality was created in 1970 due to a {{lang|da|kommunalreform}} ("Municipality Reform") that combined the following [parish](/source/parish)es: Gadbjerg, Give, Givskud, Lindeballe, Ringive, Thyregod, Vester, Øster Nykirke, Give Birk, and Enkelund Birk parishes.

Give municipality ceased to exist as the result of [''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007)](/source/Municipalities_of_Denmark).  It was merged with [Børkop](/source/B%C3%B8rkop_municipality), [Egtved](/source/Egtved_municipality), [Jelling](/source/Jelling_municipality), and [Vejle](/source/Vejle_municipality) municipalities to form a new [Vejle Municipality](/source/Vejle_Municipality), and a part went to [Billund Municipality](/source/Billund_Municipality), namely a part of [Billund Airport](/source/Billund_Airport) located on properties in the parishes Lindeballe and Ringive.  Vejle Municipality belongs to [Region of Southern Denmark](/source/Region_of_Southern_Denmark).
