Madsen played for [Horsens HK](/source/Horsens_HK) until 1991. In 1994 she returned to Danish handball to play for first [DHG Håndbold](/source/DHG_H%C3%A5ndbold) followed by [GOG Håndbold](/source/GOG_H%C3%A5ndbold).
