# Giordan Watson

**Giordan Watson** (born 24 October 1985) is an American-Romanian professional [basketball](/source/Basketball) player for [CSO Voluntari](/source/CSO_Voluntari_(basketball)) of the [Liga Națională](/source/Liga_Na%C8%9Bional%C4%83_(men's_basketball)). Standing at 178 cm (5 ft 10 in), Watson primarily plays as [point guard](/source/Point_guard). A naturalized Romanian, he also plays for the [Romanian national basketball team](/source/Romanian_national_basketball_team).

## Professional career

Watson spent the 2011–2012 season with [Úrvalsdeild karla](/source/%C3%9Arvalsdeild_karla_(basketball)) club [Grindavík](/source/Grindav%C3%ADk_men's_basketball), helping them win the [Icelandic Supercup](/source/Icelandic_Men's_Basketball_Supercup),[1] the [Icelandic Company Cup](/source/Icelandic_Men's_Basketball_Company_Cup),[2] and the Icelandic championship.[3]

On 27 June 2017, Watson signed with [U-BT Cluj-Napoca](/source/U-BT_Cluj-Napoca) of the Romanian [Liga Națională](/source/Liga_Na%C8%9Bional%C4%83_(men's_basketball)).[4] He signed with [CSM Oradea](/source/CSM_Oradea_(basketball)) in 2018. Watson averaged 11.3 points and 3.7 assists per game in 2019–20. He re-signed with the team on June 29, 2020.[5]

On July 16, 2021, he has signed with [U-BT Cluj-Napoca](/source/U-BT_Cluj-Napoca) of the Romanian [Liga Națională](/source/Liga_Na%C8%9Bional%C4%83_(men's_basketball)).[6]

On June 26, 2025, he signed with [CSO Voluntari](/source/CSO_Voluntari_(basketball)) of the [Liga Națională](/source/Liga_Na%C8%9Bional%C4%83_(men's_basketball)).[7]

## International career

In June 2017, Watson was selected for the first selection of players for the [Romanian national basketball team](/source/Romanian_national_basketball_team), to play at [EuroBasket 2017](/source/EuroBasket_2017).[8]
