**Ghislain N'Clomande Konan** (born 27 December 1995) is an Ivorian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [left-back](/source/Left-back) for [Primeira Liga](/source/Primeira_Liga) club [Gil Vicente](/source/Gil_Vicente_F.C.) and the [Ivory Coast national team](/source/Ivory_Coast_national_football_team).

## Club career

Konan made his professional debut in the Portuguese [Segunda Liga](/source/Segunda_Liga) for [Vitória SC B](/source/Vit%C3%B3ria_S.C._B) on 17 February 2016 in a game against [Atlético CP](/source/Atl%C3%A9tico_Clube_de_Portugal).[2]

He made his Primeira Liga debut for [Vitória SC](/source/Vit%C3%B3ria_S.C.) on 10 December 2016, when he played the whole game in a 2–1 victory over [Boavista](/source/Boavista_F.C.).[3]

Konan signed for [Stade de Reims](/source/Stade_de_Reims) for a £3.6 million transfer fee from Vitória SC in summer 2017. He made his debut in a 1–0 win away against [OGC Nice](/source/OGC_Nice).

In July 2022, he joined [Saudi Pro League](/source/Saudi_Pro_League) club [Al Nassr](/source/Al_Nassr_FC) on a three-year deal.[4] On 4 September 2023, Al Nassr sent Konan on a season-long [loan](/source/Loan_(sports)) to fellow Saudi Pro League side [Al-Fayha](/source/Al-Fayha_FC).[5]

On 30 January 2025, [free agent](/source/Free_agent) Konan joined Spanish [Segunda División](/source/Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n) side [Burgos CF](/source/Burgos_CF) on a six-month contract.[6]

## International career

Konan made his debut for [Ivory Coast](/source/Ivory_Coast_national_football_team) in a [2018 World Cup qualification](/source/2018_World_Cup_qualification) 0–0 tie with [Mali](/source/Mali_national_football_team) on 6 October 2017.[7]

Konan was a member of the Ivory Coast's squad for the [2021 Africa Cup of Nations](/source/2021_Africa_Cup_of_Nations) and played in all four of the team's matches as starting left-back.[8]

In December 2023, Konan was named in the Ivory Coast's squad for the [2023 Africa Cup of Nations](/source/2023_Africa_Cup_of_Nations) that ended up winning the tournament.[9][10][11]

Konan was included in the list of Ivorian players selected by coach [Emerse Faé](/source/Emerse_Fa%C3%A9) to participate in the [2025 Africa Cup of Nations](/source/2025_Africa_Cup_of_Nations).[12][13]
