**Ghailene Chaalali** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): غَيْلَان الشَّعْلَالِيّ; born 28 February 1994) is a Tunisian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [midfielder](/source/Midfielder) for the [Tunisia national team](/source/Tunisia_national_football_team).

## Club career

Chaalali participated in [2015 CAF Champions League](/source/2015_CAF_Champions_League) with the club team [Espérance de Tunis](/source/Esp%C3%A9rance_Sportive_de_Tunis). During this competition, he scored a goal against [Cosmos de Bafia](/source/Cosmos_de_Bafia) of [Cameroon](/source/Cameroon).[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]

## International career

In 2017, Chaalali was summoned to a training course of the Tunisian team before a match against [Egypt](/source/Egypt_national_football_team) counting for the qualification at the [2019 Africa Cup of Nations](/source/2019_Africa_Cup_of_Nations) in Cameroon.[3]

In June 2018 he was named in Tunisia's 23-man squad for the [2018 World Cup](/source/2018_World_Cup) in Russia.[4][5]
