# Gerald Cuffe

**Gerald Cuffe** (24 July 1669 – after 1715)[1] was an Irish politician.

Cuffe was born in [Dublin](/source/Dublin) and educated at [Trinity College, Dublin](/source/Trinity_College,_Dublin).[2]

He sat in the [House of Commons of Ireland](/source/House_of_Commons_of_Ireland) from 1703 to 1714, as a Member of Parliament for [Castlebar](/source/Castlebar_(Parliament_of_Ireland_constituency)).[3]

He was the son of [Sir James Cuffe](/source/James_Cuffe_(died_1678)) (died 1678) and Alice Aungier.[4]
