**Georgios Koltsidas** ([Greek](/source/Greek_language): Γεώργιος Κολτσίδας; born 23 September 1970) is a retired [football](/source/Association_football) player, who played as a [defender](/source/Defender_(football)) and was known for his strong [tackles](/source/Sliding_tackle).[1] He is currently the general director of [Aris](/source/Aris_Thessaloniki_F.C.).[2]

He started his career with [Trikala](/source/Trikala_F.C.) and joined Aris in July 1992,[3] where he spent the majority of his career – except for a brief one-year spell at [AEL](/source/Athlitiki_Enosi_Larissa_F.C.). He retired at the end of the [2007–08 season](/source/2007%E2%80%9308_Super_League_Greece).[4]

He was a member of the [Greece national under-21 football team](/source/Greece_national_under-21_football_team) which won the gold medal at the [1991 Mediterranean Games](/source/1991_Mediterranean_Games).[5][6]
