'''State Route 130''' ('''SR 130''') is a {{convert|12.2|mi|km|adj=mid|-long}} [state highway](/source/State_highway_(US)) that travels southwest-to-northeast through portions of [Montgomery](/source/Montgomery_County%2C_Georgia) and [Toombs](/source/Toombs_County%2C_Georgia) counties in the east-central part of the U.S. state of [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(U.S._state)).

==Route description==
The route begins at an [intersection](/source/Intersection_(road)) with [SR 135](/source/Georgia_State_Route_135) in [Petross](/source/Petross%2C_Georgia) in east-central [Montgomery County](/source/Montgomery_County%2C_Georgia). It heads northeast into the center of [Vidalia](/source/Vidalia%2C_Georgia) to an intersection with [US 280](/source/U.S._Route_280_in_Georgia)/[SR 15](/source/Georgia_State_Route_15)/[SR 29](/source/Georgia_State_Route_29)/[SR 30](/source/Georgia_State_Route_30). Farther into town is an intersection with [SR 292](/source/Georgia_State_Route_292)/[SR 297](/source/Georgia_State_Route_297), where SR 292 begins a [concurrency](/source/Concurrency_(road)) with SR 130. Just before leaving Vidalia, the two highways split with SR 292 heading to [Lyons](/source/Lyons%2C_Georgia) and SR 130 heading to the northeast. It continues to the northeast until it meets its eastern terminus at an intersection with [US 1](/source/U.S._Route_1_in_Georgia)/[SR 4](/source/Georgia_State_Route_4) north of downtown Lyons (but within the northern part of the [city limits](/source/city_limits)).<ref name="Google"/>

A very brief portion of SR 130 in Vidalia is the only part included in the [National Highway System](/source/National_Highway_System_(United_States)) (NHS), a system of roadways important to the nation's economy, defense, and mobility.<ref name="NHS Georgia">{{cite web|title=National Highway System: Georgia|url=https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/planning/national_highway_system/nhs_maps/georgia/ga_georgia.pdf|format=PDF|publisher=United States Department of Transportation|date=March 25, 2015|access-date=March 5, 2017}}</ref> The portion within the NHS is from the southernmost US 280 intersection to the northern city limits.<ref name=GDOT_ArcGIS>{{cite web |url=https://www.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=962a2591f91a4303aeafe016ba8db96b&extent=-9174693.8904%2C3792251.3004%2C-9170680.9464%2C3793608.0577%2C102100 |title=ArcGIS Web Application - GDOT State Functional Classification Map |publisher=ESRI, HERE, Garmin, NGA, USGS, NPS, Georgia Department of Transportation |accessdate=March 5, 2017}}</ref>
