**Georgia-May Davis** (born 12 October 1995) is a British-born Australian actress.

## Biography

Born on 12 October 1995 in [London, England](/source/London,_England), Davis is the daughter of actress [Alyssa-Jane Cook](/source/Alyssa-Jane_Cook).[1][2] She spent her early years growing up on the sets of her mother's shows.[2] She attained a Bachelor of Media degree from [Macquarie University](/source/Macquarie_University).[3]

During high school, Davis was cast in [Network 10](/source/Network_10)'s revamp of the 1970s-1980s show "[Young Talent Time](/source/Young_Talent_Time)".[4]

Davis was offered the role on [Disney Channel Australia](/source/Disney_Channel_(Australian_TV_channel)) as a presenter.[3][5] As part of the role, Davis hosted multiple red carpet events for films and interviewed celebrities such as [Cate Blanchett](/source/Cate_Blanchett) and [Rihanna](/source/Rihanna).[2]

In 2021, Davis starred in the TV-series "[Dive Club](/source/Dive_Club)" which was first aired on [Network 10](/source/Network_10) and later Netflix.[6][7][8] The 12-part crime series is set in the fictional seaside town of Cape Mercy and focuses on a group of teenage ocean divers.[9][10][7] Davis plays the role of Lauren Rose, the character whose disappearance after a cyclone becomes a mystery.[6][10] The series was filmed on the [Great Barrier Reef](/source/Great_Barrier_Reef) in [Port Douglas](/source/Port_Douglas), [Queensland](/source/Queensland).[7]
