**George Reinke** (December 27, 1914 – September 22, 2009) was the first elected [County Executive](/source/County_Executive) of [Dane County, Wisconsin](/source/Dane_County%2C_Wisconsin), [United States](/source/United_States).

Born in the town of [Middleton, Wisconsin](/source/Middleton_(town)%2C_Wisconsin),[1][2] Reinke served in the Dane County government as an accountant, county clerk, and county administrator. He served as County Executive of Dane County from 1973 to 1981.[1][2] He died in [Madison, Wisconsin](/source/Madison%2C_Wisconsin).[3]
