'''George Koukou''' (born 25 May 1945) was acting [Speaker](/source/Speaker_(politics)) of the [National Transitional Legislative Assembly of Liberia](/source/National_Transitional_Legislative_Assembly_of_Liberia) from 17 March 2005 to January 2006. Originally from [Nimba County](/source/Nimba_County), he now resides in the capital city of [Monrovia](/source/Monrovia). He is a member of the [Mano](/source/Mano_people) [ethnic group](/source/ethnic_group).
