'''George Cutfield''' (1799 – 22 January 1879) was an early settler in New Zealand. He was active as a politician in [Taranaki](/source/Taranaki) and was the second [Superintendent](/source/Superintendent_(New_Zealand)) of [Taranaki Province](/source/Taranaki_Province).

Cutfield was born in [Deal, Kent](/source/Deal%2C_Kent), in 1799. At [Devonport, Plymouth](/source/Devonport%2C_Plymouth), he was a naval architect.
