== Biography ==
Mickler was selected to represent [Germany](/source/Germany_at_the_1912_Summer_Olympics) at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, Sweden. He was eliminated in the first round of the [1500 metres competition](/source/Athletics_at_the_1908_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_1500_metres). He was also a member of the German team which was eliminated in the first round of the [3000 metres team race](/source/Athletics_at_the_1912_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_3000_metres_team_race) by Sweden.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.olympedia.org/athletes/70411 |title=Georg Mickler |work=Olympedia |access-date=18 April 2021}}</ref>
