# Geoffrey Hills

The **Geoffrey Hills** ([67°37′S 48°36′E](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=67_37_S_48_36_E)) are a group of hills at the west end of the [Raggatt Mountains](/source/Raggatt_Mountains) in [Enderby Land](/source/Enderby_Land), Antarctica. They were plotted from air photos taken from [Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions](/source/Australian_National_Antarctic_Research_Expeditions) aircraft in 1956, and were named by the [Antarctic Names Committee of Australia](/source/Antarctic_Names_Committee_of_Australia) for [Geoffrey D.P. Smith](/source/Geoffrey_D.P._Smith), a carpenter at [Mawson Station](/source/Mawson_Station) in 1961.[1]
