**Gayle Ye** is an Emmy Award winning [Canadian](/source/Canada) cinematographer, best known for their work on the films *[You Can Live Forever](/source/You_Can_Live_Forever)*[1] and *[Paying for It](/source/Paying_for_It_(film))*.[2]

Their work has also included the television series *[Late Bloomer](/source/Late_Bloomer_(TV_series))*, *[Odd Squad](/source/Odd_Squad)*, and *[Bria Mack Gets a Life](/source/Bria_Mack_Gets_a_Life)*. She is of Chinese descent, and is [queer](/source/Queer).[3]
