# Gary Winterborne

**Gary Winterborne** (born 26 June 1967) is a former English [cricketer](/source/Cricket). Winterborne was a right-handed [batsman](/source/Batsman_(cricket)) who bowled right-arm [medium](/source/Seam_bowling). He was born at [Hammersmith](/source/Hammersmith), [London](/source/London).

Winterborne made a single [first-class](/source/First-class_cricket) appearance for [Surrey](/source/Surrey_County_Cricket_Club) against [Cambridge University](/source/Cambridge_University_Cricket_Club) at [Fenner's](/source/Fenner's) in 1986.[1] He wasn't required to bat during the match, while with the ball he bowled a total of twenty wicketless [overs](/source/Over_(cricket)), with the match ending in a draw.[2] This was his only major appearance for Surrey.
