**Gary Goodchild** (born 27 January 1958 in [Chelmsford](/source/Chelmsford))[1] is an English former [footballer](/source/Association_football) who played in [the Football League](/source/The_Football_League) for [Arsenal](/source/Arsenal_F.C.), [Crystal Palace](/source/Crystal_Palace_F.C.), [Hereford United](/source/Hereford_United_F.C.) and [Reading](/source/Reading_F.C.).

He works as a scout for [Wolverhampton Wanderers](/source/Wolverhampton_Wanderers_F.C.).[2]
