# Gareth Dillon

**Gareth Dillon** is a [Gaelic football](/source/Gaelic_football) player with [Portlaoise GAA](/source/Portlaoise_GAA)[1] and [Laois GAA](/source/Laois_GAA).[2] He made his inter county debut on 7 February 2015, against [Cavan](/source/Cavan). Dillon was named Laois Footballer of the Year in 2017.[3]

Dillon is a former [University College Dublin](/source/University_College_Dublin) golf scholarship recipient and scratch player.[citation needed] He represented UCD[4] from 2006 - 2009.
