**Gaibandha-4** is a constituency represented in the [Jatiya Sangsad](/source/Jatiya_Sangsad) (National Parliament) of [Bangladesh](/source/Bangladesh). Since 13th February, 2026, [Shamim Kaisar Lincoln](/source/Shamim_Kaisar_Lincoln) represents this constituency, he is a member of the [Bangladesh Nationalist Party](/source/Bangladesh_Nationalist_Party).

## Boundaries

The constituency encompasses [Gobindaganj Upazila](/source/Gobindaganj_Upazila).[1][2]

## History

The constituency was created in 1984 from a Rangpur constituency when the former Rangpur District was split into five districts: [Nilphamari](/source/Nilphamari_District), [Lalmonirhat](/source/Lalmonirhat_District), [Rangpur](/source/Rangpur_District), [Kurigram](/source/Kurigram_District), and [Gaibandha](/source/Gaibandha_District).
