**Gabrielse Cone** is a remarkably fresh, clearly postglacial [monogenetic](/source/Monogenetic_volcanic_field) [cinder cone](/source/Cinder_cone), located in the [Tuya Volcanic Field](/source/Tuya_Volcanic_Field) in [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), [Canada](/source/Canada). It is about 400 m (1,312 ft) in diameter and has a central [crater](/source/Volcanic_crater) about 30 m (98 ft) deep. It is [Holocene](/source/Holocene) in age and to its northeast appears to be breached with the remnants of a [lava flow](/source/Lava). The cone is near the headwaters of [Iverson Creek](/source/Iverson_Creek_(British_Columbia)).

Gabrielse Cone is named after [Hu Gabrielse](/source/Hu_Gabrielse), a Canadian geologist who first identified the cone.[1]
