**Frontwave Arena** is an indoor [arena](/source/Arena) in [Oceanside, California](/source/Oceanside%2C_California). Opened in 2024, it is the home of the [San Diego Clippers](/source/San_Diego_Clippers_(NBA_G_League)) of the [NBA G League](/source/NBA_G_League), [San Diego Sockers](/source/San_Diego_Sockers_(2009)) of the [Major Arena Soccer League](/source/Major_Arena_Soccer_League) (MASL), and the [San Diego Strike Force](/source/San_Diego_Strike_Force) of the [Indoor Football League](/source/Indoor_Football_League) (IFL).

## History

Frontwave Arena is the first large multi-purpose indoor entertainment venue in the [North County](/source/North_County_(San_Diego_area)) area of [San Diego County](/source/San_Diego_County%2C_California). In 2022, a 10-year naming rights agreement with Oceanside-headquartered [Frontwave Credit Union](/source/Frontwave_Credit_Union) was announced, giving the arena its official name.[4]

The arena opened on September 16, 2024, for the [Gold Over America Tour](/source/2024_Gold_Over_America_Tour).[5] On October 5, the arena held its inaugural concert headlined by [Cake](/source/Cake_(band)).[6] On October 8, the [Los Angeles Clippers](/source/Los_Angeles_Clippers) held the arena's first-ever basketball game, where they defeated the visiting [Brooklyn Nets](/source/Brooklyn_Nets) 115–106 in the preseason.[7]
