# Frock Me!

**Frock Me!** is an exhibition that specialises in [vintage fashion](/source/Vintage_fashion). Frock Me! was created in 1997 and takes place in [Chelsea](/source/Chelsea,_London), [London](/source/London) and in [Kensington](/source/Kensington), [London](/source/London).[1] Frock Me! has been influential on modern fashion trends with many [buyers](/source/Buyer_(fashion)) from [High Street](/source/High_Street) fashion stores sourcing inspiration for their designs and patterns from this event. The name Frock Me! was coined by founder [Matthew Adams](/source/Matthew_Adams_(American_football)), who studied theatrical costume design at [Central School of Art](/source/Central_School_of_Art).
