**Fritz Mauruschat** (1901–1974) was a German [football](/source/Association_football) player and [manager](/source/Manager_(association_football)).

In 1961, Mauruschat was head coach of West Berlin XI for their away tie against [Barcelona](/source/FC_Barcelona) in the [Inter-Cities Fairs Cup](/source/1961%E2%80%9362_Inter-Cities_Fairs_Cup). He was appointed as a replacement for [Jupp Schneider](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jupp_Schneider&action=edit&redlink=1), who was unable to travel with the team due to illness.[1]
