'''''Friandises''''' is a [ballet](/source/ballet) in five movements written by the American composer [Christopher Rouse](/source/Christopher_Rouse_(composer)) and originally choreographed by [Peter Martins](/source/Peter_Martins).  The score was jointly commissioned by the [New York City Ballet](/source/New_York_City_Ballet) and the [Juilliard School](/source/Juilliard_School) and was completed in September 2005.  It was first performed by the New York City Ballet February 10, 2006 at the [New York State Theater](/source/David_H._Koch_Theater) in [Lincoln Center](/source/Lincoln_Center), [New York City](/source/New_York_City).
