***Freeze*** is the tenth studio album by Dutch [rock and roll](/source/Rock_and_roll) and [blues](/source/Blues) group [Herman Brood & His Wild Romance](/source/Herman_Brood). The album reached No. 63 on the Dutch album chart on 3 November 1990, and stayed on the chart for 5 weeks.[1] Brood, who had just won the 1989 [Popprijs](/source/Popprijs), one of the highest Dutch awards for popular music, recorded *Freeze* with the help of [Clarence Clemons](/source/Clarence_Clemons) of the [E Street Band](/source/E_Street_Band) and [Tejano](/source/Tejano_music) [accordion](/source/Accordion) player [Flaco Jiménez](/source/Flaco_Jim%C3%A9nez). Lack of success for this album leads Brood to stop touring.[2]
