Born in [Boulogne-Billancourt](/source/Boulogne-Billancourt), [Île-de-France](/source/%C3%8Ele-de-France) and raised in [Porto-Vecchio](/source/Porto-Vecchio), [Corsica](/source/Corsica), Testot began on [Fun Radio](/source/Fun_Radio_(France)), with [Éric Judor](/source/%C3%89ric_Judor) and [Ramzy Bedia](/source/Ramzy_Bedia) (Éric et Ramzy), before appearing on [Radio Nova](/source/Radio_Nova_(France)) in [Jamel Debbouze](/source/Jamel_Debbouze)'s program where he met [Omar Sy](/source/Omar_Sy) for the first time, in 1997.
Together, they began their television career on [Canal+](/source/Canal%2B_(French_TV_channel)) on Debbouze's program, ''Le Cinéma de Jamel''. They created ''Le Visiophon, d'Omar et Fred'', ''Les sketches d'Omar et Fred'' and ''Les coming-nexts''.
After a two-year hiatus, the duo returned in 2005 with a show called ''[Service après-vente des émissions](/source/SAV_des_%C3%A9missions)'' (English: "After-sales service of TV shows"). From 2006 to 2012, it became a famous daily column of ''[Le Grand Journal](/source/Le_Grand_Journal_(Canal%2B))'', hosted by [Michel Denisot](/source/Michel_Denisot).
Testot then played in several comedy movies, including ''[Sur la piste du Marsupilami](/source/Sur_la_piste_du_Marsupilami)'' (2012), ''[The Big Bad Wolf](/source/The_Big_Bad_Wolf_(2013_film))'' (2013) and ''[Arrête ton cinéma](/source/Arr%C3%AAte_ton_cin%C3%A9ma)'' (2016).
