***Four Days' Wonder*** is a 1936 American [comedy](/source/Comedy_film) [mystery film](/source/Mystery_film) directed by [Sidney Salkow](/source/Sidney_Salkow) and starring Jeanne Dante, [Kenneth Howell](/source/Kenneth_Howell) and [Martha Sleeper](/source/Martha_Sleeper). Produced by [Universal Pictures](/source/Universal_Pictures), the film is based on the 1933 novel "[Four Days' Wonder](/source/Four_Days'_Wonder_(novel))" by British writer [A. A. Milne](/source/A._A._Milne) (New York, 1933).[1] It was the first feature directed by Sidney Salkow.[2]
