## Geography

An area of lakes, streams and [farming](/source/Farming) comprising the village and two hamlets, situated in the valleys of both the river [Yèvre](/source/Y%C3%A8vre_(Cher)) and the [Cher](/source/Cher_(river)), some 5 miles (8.0 km) southeast of [Vierzon](/source/Vierzon) at the junction of the D60 and the D30 roads. The disused [Canal de Berry](/source/Canal_de_Berry), the [A71](/source/A71_autoroute) and the [TER](/source/TER_(train)) railway all pass through the territory of the commune.
