The '''Filder''' ({{IPA|de|ˈfɪldɐ|-|De-Filder.ogg}}; plural) – also '''Filder Plain''' ({{langx|de|Filderebene}}) – is a [natural region](/source/natural_region) (major unit no. 106) of the [Swabian Keuper-Lias Land](/source/Swabian_Keuper-Lias_Land) within the [South German Scarplands](/source/South_German_Scarplands).

They form a gently rolling, fertile [plateau](/source/plateau) in the German state of [Baden-Württemberg](/source/Baden-W%C3%BCrttemberg), which extends over the western half of the county of [Esslingen](/source/Landkreis_Esslingen) and the southern part of the borough of the state capital of [Stuttgart](/source/Stuttgart). Geologically it was formed by the transformation of a [fault zone](/source/fault_zone) from the [Lias](/source/Lias_Group) period.
