'''Fielding Lake''' is an [Alaska](/source/Alaska)n lake adjacent to the [Richardson Highway](/source/Richardson_Highway), {{convert|2|miles|spell=in}} north of [Isabel Pass](/source/Isabel_Pass) in the [Alaska Range](/source/Alaska_Range).<ref name=GNIS>{{gnis|1402035}}</ref><ref>[https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=fishingSportLakeData.redirect Fielding Lake fishing data], [Alaska Department of Fish and Game](/source/Alaska_Department_of_Fish_and_Game)</ref> As an alpine lake, it freezes early in autumn, and ice can remain on portions of the lake as late as July.<ref name=ADNR>[https://dnr.alaska.gov/parks/aspunits/northern/fieldinglksrs.htm Fielding Lake SRS], [Alaska Department of Natural Resources](/source/Alaska_Department_of_Natural_Resources)</ref> The lake has good fishing for [grayling](/source/Arctic_Grayling), [burbot](/source/burbot) and [trout](/source/Lake_trout), all of which are native populations and not stocked.<ref name=ADNR/> The lake bottom is mud and gravel, with heavy vegetation in shallow areas. The area around the lake is described as "barren, rolling tundra".<ref name=survey>[https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/SF_Lakes/Document/Index/2668 Fielding Lake survey], [Alaska Department of Fish and Game](/source/Alaska_Department_of_Fish_and_Game) lakes database</ref> The entirety of the lake itself is public, but some areas of the shore are private property.

==Park==
On the north shore of the lake is the '''Fielding Lake State Recreation Site''', a {{convert|605|acre|ha|adj=on}}, largely undeveloped park with a campground, rental cabin, and boat launch. The park and the lake itself are above the [tree line](/source/tree_line) and are considered to be under "passive management".<ref name=ADNR/>
