**Field Glacier** ([67°8′S 66°24′W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=67_8_S_66_24_W)) is a [glacier](/source/Glacier) on [Pernik Peninsula](/source/Pernik_Peninsula), [Loubet Coast](/source/Loubet_Coast) in [Graham Land](/source/Graham_Land), situated south of [Salmon Cove](/source/Salmon_Cove_(Antarctica)), and flowing west into [Lallemand Fjord](/source/Lallemand_Fjord) just south of [Kanchov Peak](/source/Kanchov_Peak). It was mapped from air photos taken by the [Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition](/source/Falkland_Islands_and_Dependencies_Aerial_Survey_Expedition), 1956–57. In association with the names of glaciologists grouped in this area, it was named by the [UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee](/source/UK_Antarctic_Place-Names_Committee) after [William B.O. Field](/source/William_B.O._Field) (born 1904), an American glaciologist and surveyor, sometime [Research Fellow](/source/Research_Fellow) of the [American Geographical Society](/source/American_Geographical_Society).[1]
