***Fidatevi*** is the first [solo album](/source/Solo_album) released by American punk rock band [Screeching Weasel](/source/Screeching_Weasel) frontman [Ben Weasel](/source/Ben_Weasel). The album was released on June 18, 2002 on [Panic Button Records](/source/Panic_Button_Records).

Weasel has said that the lyrics on the album "Are based on experiences or insights gained by practicing secular sitting [meditation](/source/Meditation), as well as ideas I came across and personalized through the study of the works of authors as diverse as [Geshe Kelsang Gyatso](/source/Geshe_Kelsang_Gyatso), [Henry David Thoreau](/source/Henry_David_Thoreau), [Jon Kabat-Zinn](/source/Jon_Kabat-Zinn), [Pema Chodron](/source/Pema_Chodron), [Ralph Waldo Emerson](/source/Ralph_Waldo_Emerson) and others."[1]
