==Club career==
===Early career===
Born in [Pereira](/source/Pereira%2C_Colombia), Uribe was an [Atlético Huila](/source/Atl%C3%A9tico_Huila) youth graduate. On 24 April 2003, he scored his first professional goal by netting the opener in a 2–2 [Categoría Primera A](/source/Categor%C3%ADa_Primera_A) away draw against [Cortuluá](/source/Cortulu%C3%A1); aged just 15 years, 3 months and 23 days, he became the youngest player ever to score a goal in Colombian professional football.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.eltiempo.com/archivo/documento/MAM-962015|title=Tuluá y Huila empatan con récord|trans-title=Tuluá and Huila draw with record|publisher=[El Tiempo](/source/El_Tiempo_(Colombia))|language=es|date=24 April 2003|access-date=17 January 2019}}</ref>

Regularly used during [his debut season](/source/2003_Categor%C3%ADa_Primera_A_season), Uribe failed to appear in the following two campaigns, and moved to [Categoría Primera B](/source/Categor%C3%ADa_Primera_B) side [Girardot](/source/Girardot_F.C.) in December 2005. After two years being sparingly used, he subsequently moved to fellow second division club Cortuluá; his only goal for the latter club came on 25 August 2008, when he scored the only goal of a home defeat of [Unión Magdalena](/source/Uni%C3%B3n_Magdalena).<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.colombia.com/futbol/autonoticias/Noticias/2008/08/25/DetalleNoticia43243.asp|title=Expreso Rojo y Barranquilla encabezan los Nonagonales de la Primera B|trans-title=Expreso Rojo and Barranquilla head the Nonogonals of Primera B|publisher=Colombia.com|language=es|date=25 August 2008|access-date=17 January 2019}}</ref>
