'''Feral Audio''' was an independent [podcast](/source/podcast) network and production company, founded in 2012 as a podcasting collective by Dustin Marshall after Dustin left [Earwolf](/source/Earwolf).

Feral launched from Executive Producer's [Shadi Petosky](/source/Shadi_Petosky)'s apartment in Franklin Village to be near the [Upright Citizens Brigade](/source/Upright_Citizens_Brigade) Theater. Shadi, through her studio PUNY Entertainment, financed Feral and PUNY artists created Feral's brand identity, website, and cover art for Feral's first slate of podcasts.

In 2013, Feral moved to [Starburns Industries](/source/Starburns_Industries) in [Burbank](/source/Burbank%2C_California), CA. Feral Audio LLC was formed in January 2016 as a partnership between Dustin Marshall, Jason Smith, [Dan Harmon](/source/Dan_Harmon), and Starburns Industries.

Feral Audio billed itself as a "Fiercely Independent Podcast Network", offering its shows' creators 100% ownership and creative control over their content. Since its inception, Feral Audio produced high rated and critically acclaimed shows such as ''[Harmontown](/source/Harmontown)'', ''[The Duncan Trussell Family Hour](/source/The_Duncan_Trussell_Family_Hour)'', and ''[My Favorite Murder](/source/My_Favorite_Murder)''.<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/shira-hirschman-weiss/a-surprising-hit-podcast-_b_11074156.html|title=Summer's Surprising Hit Podcast: My Favorite Murder |last=Hirschman Weiss|first=Shira|date=July 21, 2016|website=The Huffington Post|access-date=October 18, 2016}}</ref>

In July 2016, Feral Audio became the first podcast network to have a panel in [San Diego Comic Con](/source/San_Diego_Comic-Con)'s Hall H.<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://frompage2screen.wordpress.com/2016/07/18/feral-audio-live-with-dan-harmon-and-a-legion-of-podcasters-the-first-ever-live-podcast-recording-in-hall-h-thursday-215pm-sdcc/|title=Feral Audio Live! with Dan Harmon and a Legion of Podcasters — the first-ever live podcast recording in Hall H (Thursday, 2:15pm #sdcc|date=July 18, 2016|website=FromPage2Screen.Com|access-date=October 18, 2016|archive-date=October 19, 2016|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20161019102459/https://frompage2screen.wordpress.com/2016/07/18/feral-audio-live-with-dan-harmon-and-a-legion-of-podcasters-the-first-ever-live-podcast-recording-in-hall-h-thursday-215pm-sdcc/|url-status=dead}}</ref>

On January 2, 2018, it was announced that Feral Audio was shutting down in the wake of claims of abuse against its founder Dustin Marshall.
