**Feni-3** is a constituency represented in the [Jatiya Sangsad](/source/Jatiya_Sangsad) (National Parliament) of [Bangladesh](/source/Bangladesh).

## Boundaries

The constituency encompasses [Daganbhuiyan](/source/Daganbhuiyan_Upazila) and [Sonagazi](/source/Sonagazi_Upazila) upazilas.[1][2]

## History

The constituency was created in 1984 from the Noakhali-3 constituency when the former Noakhali District was split into three districts: [Feni](/source/Feni_District), [Noakhali](/source/Noakhali_District), and [Lakshmipur](/source/Lakshmipur_District).

Ahead of the [2008 general election](/source/2008_Bangladeshi_general_election), the [Election Commission](/source/Bangladesh_Election_Commission) redrew constituency boundaries to reflect population changes revealed by the [2001 Bangladesh census](/source/2001_Bangladesh_census).[3] The 2008 redistricting altered the boundaries of the constituency.[4]
