***Feihyla*** is a genus of [frogs](/source/Frog) in the family [Rhacophoridae](/source/Rhacophoridae), [subfamily](/source/Subfamily) [Rhacophorinae](/source/Rhacophorinae). They are found in southern China and Vietnam, and likely also in Laos. Its phylogenetic position is not yet fully resolved, but it is probably the [sister taxon](/source/Sister_taxon) to *[Taruga](/source/Taruga)*, *[Polypedates](/source/Polypedates)*, and *[Rhacophorus](/source/Rhacophorus)*.[2] *Feihyla* was originally erected to resolve [polyphyly](/source/Polyphyly) of *[Chirixalus](/source/Chirixalus)* by absorbing *["Chirixalus palpebralis"](/source/Feihyla_palpebralis)*.[1]

## Description

The [synapomorphy](/source/Synapomorphy) diagnosing *Feihyla* is its reproductive mode, laying eggs in a jelly containing some bubbles.[3]
