Sefa moved to [Dinamo Tirana](/source/FK_Dinamo_Tirana) in the summer of 2008 ahead of the club's [Champions League](/source/UEFA_Champions_League) campaign of 2008–09. He moved from his hometown club, [Lushnja](/source/KF_Lushnja) and was given the number 16 shirt for his first season. He played the first leg of Dinamo Tirana's Champions League encounter against [FK Modrica](/source/FK_Modrica). He came on in the 53rd minute for [Argentine](/source/Argentine), [Cristian Andres Campozano](/source/Cristian_Andres_Campozano).{{cn|date=October 2025}}
Sefa made his league debut in a Dinamo Tirana jersey on the opening day of the season against [Teuta Durrës](/source/KF_Teuta_Durr%C3%ABs).
