He finished fourth at the [1983 Mediterranean Games](/source/Athletics_at_the_1983_Mediterranean_Games){{citation needed|date=August 2017}} and competed at the [1988 Summer Olympics](/source/1988_Summer_Olympics) without reaching the final.
