[Little Jimmy Dickens](/source/Little_Jimmy_Dickens) recorded the song in 1961. It was also recorded by American [country music](/source/country_music) artists [Johnny Bush](/source/Johnny_Bush) and [Waylon Jennings](/source/Waylon_Jennings), as well as [Gene Watson](/source/Gene_Watson).  Watson's cover was released in February 1979 as the second single from the album ''Reflections''.
