**Farashganj Sporting Club** commonly known as *Farashganj SC* is an [association football](/source/Association_football) club[1][2][3] based in [Farashganj](/source/Farashganj), [Dhaka](/source/Dhaka), Bangladesh.

It will compete in the [Dhaka Senior Division League](/source/Dhaka_Senior_Division_Football_League) following relegation from the [2023–24 Bangladesh Championship League](/source/2023%E2%80%9324_Bangladesh_Championship_League).[4][5]

Farashganj Sporting Club is situated between the historical sites [Ruplal House](/source/Ruplal_House) and [Northbrook Hall](/source/Northbrook_Hall) in the old part of Dhaka. It was also a team of [Bangladesh Premier League](/source/Bangladesh_Premier_League_(football)) until its relegation in the [2017–18 season](/source/2017%E2%80%9318_Bangladesh_Football_Premier_League). After its relegation from the top division the clubs trajectory went downhill as they are currently fighting relegation in the [second tier](/source/Bangladesh_Championship_League) of Bangladesh football league system.
