**Faloreia** ([Greek](/source/Greek_language): Φαλωρεία) is a former [municipality](/source/Communities_and_Municipalities_of_Greece) in the [Trikala regional unit](/source/Trikala_(regional_unit)), [Thessaly](/source/Thessaly), [Greece](/source/Greece), named after the ancient city of [Phaloria](/source/Phaloria). Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality [Trikala](/source/Trikala), of which it is a municipal unit.[2] The municipal unit has an area of 76.329 km2.[3] Its population was 3,376 in 2021. The seat of the municipality was in [Kefalovryso](/source/Kefalovryso%2C_Trikala).
