'''FRE Records''', a.k.a. '''Flood Ross Entertainment, Inc.''', was a [Mississauga, Ontario](/source/Mississauga) based [independent](/source/indie_rock) [record label](/source/record_label) in the 1990s. It was originally formed by former employees Terry Flood and Derrick Ross of [Enigma Records](/source/Enigma_Records)<ref>{{cite web|title=Label: FRE |url=https://rateyourmusic.com/label/fre/ |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160109183018/https://rateyourmusic.com/label/fre/ |url-status=dead |archive-date=9 January 2016 |website=Rate Your Music |accessdate=16 April 2016 }}</ref> after that label's Canadian operations folded.

The best-known bands on FRE were [April Wine](/source/April_Wine) and [Skydiggers](/source/Skydiggers).

In 1996, FRE filed for bankruptcy, and many of the records that had been released on the label, including Skydiggers' ''[Restless](/source/Restless_(Skydiggers_album))'' (one of the bestselling Canadian indie records of the 1990s), ceased to be available in record stores.

In 1999, the Skydiggers recorded a new version of ''Restless'', titled ''[Still Restless: The Lost Tapes](/source/Still_Restless%3A_The_Lost_Tapes)'', since they still could not obtain their original master tapes from the label.
