**Exposed.su** was a website run by [Russian hackers](/source/Cyberwarfare_by_Russia) focused on the [listing of personal information of celebrities](/source/Doxing), and other high-profile figures.[1] Among the high-profile victims include [Michelle Obama](/source/Michelle_Obama), [Donald Trump](/source/Donald_Trump), [Arnold Schwarzenegger](/source/Arnold_Schwarzenegger), [Kim Kardashian](/source/Kim_Kardashian), [Joe Biden](/source/Joe_Biden), [Hillary Clinton](/source/Hillary_Clinton), [Beyonce](/source/Beyonce) and [Robert Mueller](/source/Robert_Mueller). The "doxed" documents, which are hosted on the website, include [Social Security numbers](/source/Social_Security_number), [credit histories](/source/Credit_history), [loan documents](/source/Loan) and [mortgage information](/source/Mortgage_loan) of the individuals.[1][2][3][4][5]

The credit history information appears to have been obtained through the [hacking](/source/Hacker_(computer_security)) of 3 US credit history databases, [Equifax](/source/Equifax), [Experian](/source/Experian) and [TransUnion](/source/TransUnion), by the hacker *CosmoTheGod*.[6][7]

In April 2013 [Brian Krebs](/source/Brian_Krebs) linked his [swatting](/source/Swatting) incident to the coverage of this site.[8][9]

In 2017, a teenager named Eric Taylor, also known by his [hacker handle](/source/Online_identity) *CosmoTheGod*,[10] was sentenced to 36 months by [United States District Court for the District of Columbia](/source/United_States_District_Court_for_the_District_of_Columbia) on charges of [cybercrime](/source/Cybercrime) with regards to a conspiracy that resulted in the disclosure of personal information of Trump, [John Brennan](/source/John_Brennan_(CIA_officer)), Obama, among others on the website.[7][11] Previously in 2016, a New Yorker named Mir Islam was also arrested by the [federal agents](/source/Federal_Bureau_of_Investigation) for posting CIA director John Brennan's confidential information to Exposed.su and "[swatting](/source/Swatting)" 50 people including Michelle Obama and [Robert Mueller](/source/Robert_Mueller).[4]

The site was shut down in March 2013 before jumping to other domains[12] and has since been [mirrored](/source/Mirror_site) on a [Tor hidden service](/source/Tor_(network)#Onion_services).
