***Exploring the Scene!*** is an album by The Poll Winners, guitarist [Barney Kessel](/source/Barney_Kessel) with drummer [Shelly Manne](/source/Shelly_Manne) and bassist [Ray Brown](/source/Ray_Brown_(musician)), recorded in 1960 and released on the [Contemporary](/source/Contemporary_Records) label.[1] The album was the fourth of five to be released by the group.

The [Allmusic](/source/Allmusic) review by [Scott Yanow](/source/Scott_Yanow) stated: "it may very well be their strongest program... Worth searching for".[2]

The *[DownBeat](/source/DownBeat)* review by [Leonard Feather](/source/Leonard_Feather) assigned the album 3.5 stars.[3] He said that "all eight tracks are performed with skill and sensitivity. Such is the mutual feeling among the men that this could be called the best one-piece trio in jazz".[3]
