**Excellence** was a Swedish [pop](/source/Pop_music) girl group from 2001 created through the TV programme *[Popstars](/source/Popstars)* on [Kanal 5](/source/Kanal_5_(Sweden)).[1][2] The group scored a number one album on the Swedish Charts, as well as five top 10 singles, and entered [Melodifestivalen 2002](/source/Melodifestivalen_2002).[3]

They also collaborated with [Markoolio](/source/Markoolio) on the official Swedish song for the [2002 Winter Olympics](/source/2002_Winter_Olympics) "[Vi ska vinna!](/source/Vi_ska_vinna!)"[1] Their last single was 'We can dance' which reached top 10 on the charts. The group split shortly after the single was released.[1] Member [Ana Johnsson](/source/Ana_Johnsson) later scored a worldwide solo hit with the song "[We Are](/source/We_Are_(Ana_Johnsson_song))" from the [*Spider-Man 2*soundtrack](/source/Spider-Man_2_(soundtrack)) and has since then (October 2006) released her second album *[Little Angel](/source/Little_Angel)*.
