***Euxoa xasta*** is a species of cutworm or dart moth in the family [Noctuidae](/source/Noctuidae) [first described](/source/Species_description) by [William Barnes](/source/William_Barnes_(entomologist)) and [James Halliday McDunnough](/source/James_Halliday_McDunnough) in 1910.[1][2][3][4] It is found in North America.[1]
