The pipeline runs from the [Draupner E riser platform](/source/Draupner_platform) in the [North Sea](/source/North_Sea) to a receiving terminal at [Dornum](/source/Dornum) in [Germany](/source/Germany). At Draupner E, it is connected with [Zeepipe](/source/Zeepipe) and [Statpipe](/source/Statpipe)/[Norpipe](/source/Norpipe) system.  From Dornum a {{convert|48|km|mi|adj=mid|-long}} land line runs to the metering station in [Emden](/source/Emden).
