A '''Europhile''' is a person who is fond of, admires, or loves [European culture](/source/Culture_of_Europe), society, [history](/source/History_of_Europe), [food](/source/European_cuisine), [music](/source/Culture_of_Europe) etc.<ref>[http://dictionary.reverso.net/english-definitions/Europhile "Europhile"], English Collins Dictionary. "A person who admires Europe, Europeans."</ref><ref>[https://books.google.com/books?id=q7XWzpLENeUC&dq=europhile&pg=PA69 ''A Glossary of the European Union''], by [Alistair Jones](/source/Alistair_Jones), pg.69. "A Europhile .. is likely to enthuse over European culture and society."</ref> In its narrower, and often pejorative sense, the term europhile is most often used in Europe itself in a political context, that is, in the context of an uncritical attitude towards the European Union. It refers to organizations and individuals with explicitly unquestioning pro-European attitudes, as opposed to [Eurosceptics](/source/Euroscepticism) and [Europhobes](/source/Anti-Europeanism).
