***Europe, General Delivery*** or ***Europe poste restante*** (German: ***Europa postlagernd***) is a 1918 German [silent](/source/Silent_film) [mystery film](/source/Mystery_film) directed by [Ewald André Dupont](/source/Ewald_Andr%C3%A9_Dupont) and starring [Max Landa](/source/Max_Landa), [Viktor Senger](/source/Viktor_Senger) and [Lu Synd](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Lu_Synd&action=edit&redlink=1). It was part of a series of films starring [Joe Deebs](/source/Joe_Deebs), a fiction British detective modelled on [Sherlock Holmes](/source/Sherlock_Holmes). It marked Dupont's directorial debut.[1]

The film's sets were designed by the [art director](/source/Art_director) [Ernst Stern](/source/Ernst_Stern). It was shot at the [Babelsberg Studios](/source/Babelsberg_Studios) in [Berlin](/source/Berlin).
