In the 1990s, Lin was a member of Taiwan-based girl group 3EP Beauties ({{zh|labels=no|c=3EP美少女}}) under the stage-name "E-Lin" ({{zh|labels=no|t=韋伶}}), along with "Jin" ({{ill|Jade Chou|zh|周幼婷}}) and "Tin-Tin" ({{zh|labels=no|c=婷婷}}).
